Manufacturing Technologies
In addition to extruded hoses, film and clip hoses are also manufactured in Kunshan. As with Masterflex SE, the focus is on the profile extrusion of spiral hoses made of PUR for products such as Flamex B-F se. The main focus of production of temperature-resistant clip hoses is mainly on the Master-SANTO SL. With our special production technology the hose profile is connected mechanically and at the same time extremely tensile strength with the external metal spiral.
Geographical Area
Kunshan has almost 2 million inhabitants and is therefore a small town by Chinese standards. It borders directly on Shanghai to the west - with around 24 million inhabitants, it is the largest city in Greater China. Kunshan Zhanpu's German Business Park is the easternmost branch of the Masterflex Group. It takes about one and a half hours to get to Shanghai by car in normal traffic. If you take the 300-kilometer-per-hour high-speed train "G" from Kunshan South Station to the central Shanghai Railway Station, it takes just 20 minutes.
Kunshan literally means "beautiful stone". The city is known for its beautiful lakes and the "Hairy Crabs" living there. They are one of the greatest delicacies of Chinese cuisine.
