Gelsenkirchen, 11 October 2007. DICOTA GmbH, a subsidiary of Masterflex AG (ISIN DE0005942938) acquired seventy per cent of shares in DICOTA AG, CH-Freienbach, on 11 October 2007, at a purchase price of €780,000.
The company was founded in 1996 in the course of the expansion of DICOTA GmbH, D-Bietigheim-Bissingen, a successful subsidiary of Masterflex AG. DICOTA AG also received the rights to the name and exclusive territory protection for Switzerland and Liechtenstein at that time.
DICOTA AG’s revenue is in single digit millions. The company is profitable,meaning there will be no diluting effect upon consolidation.
The majority takeover of the profitable company means that Masterflex AG is strengthening the presence of DICOTA GmbH in Switzerland, while at the same time optimising its subsidiary’s pan-European sales strategy.
DICOTA GmbH specialises in high-quality, exclusive notebook bags, individual suitcase solutions for working on the move and accessories for notebooks and is one of the international market leaders in mobile computing equipment. DICOTA GmbH is celebrating its fifteenth anniversary this year.
