At PaintExpo in Karlsruhe, APT Advanced Polymer Tubing and Novoplast Schlauchtechnik, the two experts for industrial hoses of the Masterflex Group, will be showcasing innovative products and customised solutions developed specifically for use by the industrial and automated painting sector.
Highlights to be seen at the fair will be corrugated hoses made of fully fluorinated polymers, such as FEP and PFA. These are resistant to nearly all kinds of chemicals, including solvents, acids and alkalis. "As a specialist in the field of fluoropolymer product extrusion, we are continually developing new products and solutions tailored to the individual needs of our customers," says Holger Heuser, Managing Director of APT. "We can rapidly and flexibly adapt to special requirements with regard to geometry, colours or raw materials." APT will also be featuring its brand-new technique for labelling fluoropolymer hoses. This makes it possible to label FEP and PFA hoses clearly and permanently in accordance with customer wishes.
Also to be seen at the fair will be hoses made of high performance technical plastics such as PFA, FEP, polyamide, polyurethane and polyethylene for use with painting equipment and automated systems. These special hoses for the transport of paints, powders and cleaning agents are available in a wide range of variants: antistatic, electrically conductive, with antistatic or electrically conductive strip linings and high voltage-resistant versions. These are designed for use with painting equipment that requires explosion protection.
"We will together be offering here a broad-based portfolio of products and our wide-ranging technical expertise to those requiring advice," adds Torsten Gebhardt, Business Development Manager and Deputy Sales Director Technical Tubings of the Masterflex Group.
Also on display at PaintExpo will be compressed air spirals, tubing with special profiles and standard hoses made of PUR, PA and LDPE.
