In chemical plants, in paint mist extraction, in the paint, wood and paper industries, in the pharmaceutical industry: everywhere, the extraction of aggressive, gaseous media presents a major challenge. Often unsuitable, conventional products are used, which only achieve an insufficient service life of the hoses.
Master-Clip TEFLON H® hoses from Masterflex AG have been specially developed for the extraction ofaggressive vapors in the medium temperature range. The hoses are characterized by their excellent chemical resistance, are cold and heat resistant, weatherproof and UV and ozone resistant. In addition, their extreme flexibility, extreme compressibility (approx. 1:4) and extremely small bending radii mean that they can be used in a wide range of industrial applications. The anti-adhesive inner wall material ensures optimum media flow in the hoses. The outer clamping profile spiral additionally protects them to a large extent from external wear.
In several applications, Master-Clip TEFLON H® hoses are used, for example, for the extraction of aggressive vapors during the production of adhesive films. This process generates vapors containing solvents, which were previously extracted using conventional PVC hoses. Due to the rapid curing processes and the resulting brittleness, the PVC hoses had to be replaced very frequently. Expensive production downtimes were the result.
Masterflex AG's technical sales consultants recommended the use of Master-Clip TEFLON H® hoses as an alternative. The anti-adhesive inner wall as well as the excellent chemical resistance offered a service life many times longer than all other hoses previously used. Even at temperatures up to +175 °C (or briefly +190 °C), they offer the best protection when extracting aggressive media.
Master-Clip TEFLON H® hoses are available in diameters DN 38 - DN 2,000. Almost all intermediate dimensions as well as special designs with stainless steel clamping profile are available from the manufacturer on request. It goes without saying that Masterflex AG also offers corresponding connecting elements.
