Smaller, more precise, more versatile - these trends have become indispensable in modern medical technology. This year, trade visitors can once again gain an impression of this at Compamed in Düsseldorf. More than 700 suppliers will be presenting technology solutions and services for the medical technology industry here from November 16 to 19. With its two medical technology brands Novoplast Schlauchtechnik and Fleima-Plastic, the Masterflex Group will be offering high-quality medical technology accessories from a single source at Stand M 11 in Hall 8a.
The focus is on hoses and high-pressure connectors for manufacturers of contrast medium injectors. In this medical procedure, the contrast medium is injected into the patient's body in exact doses via an injector. This is usually done at high pressure for a short time.
As is usual in the medical field, these requirements place high demands on the material used and its processing. The hoses from Novoplast, which have a high to very high pressure resistance, form a perfect unit in conjunction with the robust connector from Fleima Plastic, which meets the highest demands in terms of tightness, pressure changes and dead volume.
Another focus is on tubing for infusions and microinfusions made of a wide variety of biocompatible plastics, filling tubes for IV (intravenous) and nutrition bag systems, and connectors for angiography.
By combining material and processing expertise in the fields of extrusion and injection molding, the two brands Novoplast Schlauchtechnik and Fleima-Plastic complement each other perfectly.
The result of this cooperation is high-quality standard medical articles ranging from hoses to connectors, customer-specific special solutions, and the combination of products from the two Masterflex brands as a complete solution: this can be, for example, a hose for a special installation situation, for which the matching connector including protective cap can also be supplied. Or a sophisticated multi-lumen hose that is given a corresponding connector by insert injection molding.
