A double-layer Master-Clip HT 450 suction hose consisting of an internal impregnated glass fabric and an external glass fabric coated on both sides with thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) and woven VA wire as well as an external profile helix made of hot-dip galvanised steel was tested.
The tested hoses are therefore flame-retardant according to DIN EN 13501-1. The classification corresponds to Euroclass "B - s2, d0". "B" stands for the fire behaviour, "s2" classifies the smoke development and "d0" is an additional classification with regard to "burning dripping or falling off".
The corresponding test report was issued by the Materialprüfamt Nordrhein-Westfalen (MPA NRW) and can be requested or viewed at any time.
For use in plant engineering, the classification report serves as the final proof of fire behaviour.
