Master PUR Flat Hoses

Master-PUR Flat hoses - new data sheets to download

Gelsenkirchen, 20.02.2007

Master-PUR Flat hoses from Masterflex AG are used wherever hoses are subjected to heavy loads from abrasive media and, at the same time, high demands are placed on flexibility and load-bearing capacity. The highly abrasion-resistant hoses made of pure polyurethane - without incorporated support spirals - are characterized by maximum flexibility and load-bearing capacity and are particularly convincing where hoses are exposed to extreme vibrations or have to compensate for strong lateral movements, such as for material supply systems on tumbler screening machines or as a replacement for bellows or compensators.

Master-PUR Flat hoses are axially compressible, smooth on the inside, free of butt joints and thus have optimum flow characteristics. Outstanding is the high flexibility with possible wall thicknesses from 1.0 mm up to 2.0 mm. This makes Master-PUR Flat hoses particularly suitable for conveying abrasive, dusty and free-flowing media in the bulk materials industry.

The good flexibility characterizes these hoses as well as the high tensile and tear strength, long service life and good resistance to chemicals, UV and ozone.

Master-PUR Flat hoses are available in diameters from DN 50 to DN 300 and in standard lengths up to 5 m. Temperatures up to +90°C and briefly up to +125°C can affect the hose just as little as oils, gasoline and cold.

Special versions, such as food-grade with corresponding approvals for the food and pharmaceutical industries, microbe- and hydrolysis-resistant versions, and with incorporated grounding braid to dissipate electrostatic charges are also available.
