Masterflex AG is supporting a project which, due to its great success last year, will take place for the second time in Gelsenkirchen on July 28/29, 2007. The HeartKick e.V. association is once again staging the HeartKick 2007 soccer charity tournament with numerous celebrities from the worlds of sports, TV and showbiz at the tradition-steeped Glückauf-Kampfbahn in Gelsenkirchen (admission from 10 a.m.). This year's patron is the mayor of Gelsenkirchen, Frank Baranowski. The proceeds will be used to support children with serious illnesses. A total of six teams will be competing in two groups for the tournament title.
- Celebrity team (including Toto & Harry, Muhabbet, Guido Cantz, Patrick Bach, Willi Herren, Hilmi Sözer),
- Bayer Leverkusen traditional team,
- Team Paradiso (including Pedro Pablo Pasculli, Sergei Aleinikov, Viktor Pasulko, Ruggiero Rizzitelli, Wolfgang Kleff, Soleymann Sanè, Bachirou Salou, Klaus Täuber),
- Coach celebrity eleven (among others with Ennatz Dietz, Klaus Fichtel, Rob Reekers)
- Team Dragonsport Wattenscheid (among others with Sergio Alevi, Guido Naumann, Peter Quallo, Karsten Wolters)
- Team Forumfighter (a selection of hobby kickers).
A colorful supporting program with a raffle, attractions for children and young people, autograph sessions with Schalke legends (including Willi Koslowski, Manni Kreuz, Heiner Kördell) and live music performances (including Muhabbet, Marco Kloss, Jan Hegenberg) round off the event. For the physical well-being of the spectators will be likewise in the best way ensured.
Tickets are available at the stadium box office at a price of 1.50 to 10 euros, children up to 6 years have free admission.
After the great success in 2006, this year's announced goal is again to support seriously ill children and people in crisis situations.
Masterflex AG supports this project and hopes that this year's donations will once again help to give children and people in need a bit of quality of life.
Background
On September 24, 2006, the HeartKick charity soccer match for "Herzenswünsche" e.V. took place in Recklinghausen.
The patron was former Schalke manager Rudi Assauer, who himself played for the good cause. "Herzenswünsche" is an association from Münster that fulfills the unfortunately usually last wishes of seriously ill children and young people. Rudi Assauer has been involved with this organization for a decade.
In an Internet forum, users developed the idea of organizing a game, the proceeds of which would be donated to the "Herzenswünsche" association.
