"Spain and Portugal are extremely interesting markets with a good economic growth rate in many production sectors relevant to us," adds Sergio Alvarez, Area Sales Manager for Spain and Portugal at Masterflex Group. The group's experience in sales and product distribution will ensure the successful establishment of the product brands Masterflex and Novoplast Schlauchtechnik in these strategically important markets.
According to Sergio Alvarez, there is considerable demand for these products in the aviation, glass and wind energy sectors, but also in the plastics, pharmaceuticals and bulk solids handling industries. Important potential applications include use in cooling and air-conditioning systems and in extraction/suction.
The business on the Iberian peninsula will be coordinated directly from the corporate headquarters in Gelsenkirchen, as a result of its European Sales expansion. Masterflex Group launched a new Spanish website at the start of this year to provide digital support for customers and the Spanish sales activities.
