Anthony Quinn, Marketing Manager at the Masterflex Group in Gelsenkirchen, yesterday handed over a donation check for €1,800 to Sigrid Weiser and Helga Kuzmierz from the Gelsenkirchen Kindertafel charity. "We are very pleased to be able to hand over such a handsome sum of money again," said Quinn. "Because we know that the money will be well spent here."
Once again this year, employees of the world market leader for industrial hose and connection solutions laced up their running shoes for a good cause: 18 employees (seven more than last year) took part in the nearly six-kilometer B2RUN company run in July. As a thank you for this after-hours sporting commitment, Masterflex SE donated 100 euros to the Gelsenkirchen Kindertafel for each employee who took part in the run.
With this donation, the company based in Gelsenkirchen-Erle is continuing its now almost traditional cooperation with the Tafel. Most recently, Masterflex apprentices supported the Gelsenkirchener Tafel and Kindertafel on two days during their Christmas campaign and packed Christmas bags for those in need.
