It has been eight weeks since the Masterflex relay team took part in the VIVAWEST marathon in Gelsenkirchen.
The aim of the event was to raise money for the Gelsenkirchen children’s food charity, with ten euros being donated to the children’s food charity for every kilometre run. This resulted in a donation of 500 euros from the marathon.
The donation was handed over today to the Gelsenkirchen food charity by Ole Stein, Managing Director of Sales (Advanced Polymers Europe) for the Masterflex Group.
Regional and local charity work is very important to Masterflex and its staff. Therefore, the company has supported the event regularly since 2012. “You have to share your happiness to multiply it,” said Masterflex Group’s CEO, Dr. Andreas Bastin.
Masterflex wants to stick with this project in the coming years.
Our motivated staff will be happy to do what they have to at the next sporting event to offer a good start in life to children in need.
