The Masterflex Group, which has been headquartered in Gelsenkirchen-Erle for more than 25 years, is one of 13 companies participating in an advertising campaign that is now attracting attention throughout Germany.
From Gelsenkirchen to the whole world
"We value the location and still feel very much at home here," says Dr. Andreas Bastin, CEO of the Masterflex Group. "That's why it was a matter of course for us to take part in this campaign." The company manages its global business with hoses and connection systems made of high-performance plastics and fabrics, which are used in almost all industries, from Gelsenkirchen. Bastin: "There are also numerous university locations around Gelsenkirchen with a large potential of qualified graduates, which we want to make greater use of in the future."
Gelsenkirchen all over Germany
So Gelsenkirchen has a lot to offer, and all of Germany should now know this: In fact, you can hardly get past Gelsenkirchen these days, at least in 14 major German cities.The participating companies are advertising Gelsenkirchen with cheeky slogans and hard facts on 519 billboards.In addition, there will be newspaper ads, an Internet presence, mailings to decision-makers, as well as videos, Facebook and banner ads on online portals.

The Masterflex Group's ad motif shows an employee producing a so-called clip hose. Because no matter whether it's air, medicine, building materials or even chocolate: everything keeps flowing thanks to Masterflex hoses.
