Masterflex receives test certificate according to DIN 75200 for Master-NEO 1 hoses

Following external testing, Masterflex AG (ISIN DE 0005492938) has been awarded a test certificate in accordance with DIN 75200 and FMVSS 302 for its Master-NEO 1 hose types for use in vehicle interiors.

Masterflex AG (ISIN DE 0005492938) has received the test certificate according to DIN 75200 or FMVSS 302 for the hose types Master-NEO 1 for use in the passenger compartment of motor vehicles after external testing. The purpose of the test is to determine the burning rate when exposed to a small ignition flame of materials used in the passenger compartment of motor vehicles.

This means that Master-NEO 1 hoses can be safely used as components for the interiors of, for example, passenger cars, trucks, multi-purpose vehicles and buses. This applies to all diameters from DN 13 to DN 305 of the Master-NEO 1 hoses.

Due to the steadily growing demand for the high-quality Master-NEO hoses, Masterflex AG already further expanded its production and storage capacities for this product line in the middle of last year. Almost all common nominal diameters from DN 13 to DN 305 can be supplied from stock within 24 hours.

Manufactured on state-of-the-art equipment, the vulcanized hoses made of Neoprene® coated glass fabric are characterized by their long service life and particularly good folding behavior. Even in difficult installation situations, the extremely flexible and lightweight hoses can be easily installed.

These hoses are used wherever air or gaseous media with high intrinsic or ambient temperatures are conveyed. They can withstand continuous temperatures of up to +135°C and short-term temperatures of up to +150°C.

In addition to dryer systems in the plastics industry, classic applications for these hoses include vehicle, aircraft and engine construction. These hoses are therefore compliant with RoHS (2002/95/EC) and the End-of-Life Vehicle Directive (2000/53/EC).

The hoses can be delivered immediately from stock, in single and double layer design and in the diameter ranges 13 - 305 mm.
