On September 18, 2007, Novoplast Schlauchtechnik GmbH added another milestone to its success story. The ceremonial laying of the foundation stone for the new production hall plus warehouse and social wing took place at the subsidiary of Masterflex AG in the presence of Halberstadt's mayor Andreas Henke and Detlef Herzog, CEO of Masterflex AG.
Today, Novoplast Schlauchtechnik has around sixty employees and has been manufacturing technical smooth hoses since 1992, which are used in vehicles or printing machines, for example. Since 2000, the company has also been successfully producing medical hoses.
The production hall will have a converted area of approx. 2,000 square meters. After completion in May 2008, new technologies for the production of hoses and hose systems will be available in addition to the expansion of production capacities.
