In 1925, the two Hamburg businessmen Oscar Matzen and Otto Timm founded the company - initially as an export company. The business later shifted to industrial hoses. Today, Matzen & Timm is a long-standing and certified partner to the aviation industry and works with the leading aircraft manufacturers.
At AIX in the Hamburg exhibition halls, Matzen & Timm will be presenting proven solutions for aviation. The trade fair highlight is the new ABS 1170 silencer hose (successor to the ABS 1114): It is designed to significantly reduce the noise in an aircraft's air conditioning system once again. This is thanks to the special design of the hose - and the use of special acoustic fleece. At the AIX, visitors will be able to see the sound-absorbing capabilities of both hoses for themselves at the specially developed loudspeaker box.
Matzen & Timm is certified to EN 9100 and therefore meets the highest standards of quality, safety and reliability.
