In May, Matzen & Timm was successfully recertified by TÜV Rheinland according to EN 9100:2016. The standard deals with quality management standards in the aviation industry.
The scope of the standard covers the development, manufacture as well as distribution of special hoses, bellows, molded parts and sleeves made of elastomer-coated technical fabric.
This year's revision brought three major changes. Firstly, the so-called "High Level Structure" was taken from the quality management standard ISO 9001: 2015, the requirements of ISO 9001 thus also became part of the new EN 9100, and secondly, additional industry-specific criteria were redefined.
