Master-Clip SPARK XL hoses were specially developed for the extraction of grinding dusts and welding fumes with increased spark content. The hoses, which are resistant to temperatures up to +200 °C, are characterized by their very good mechanical load-bearing capacity, abrasion resistance, high flexibility and very small bending radii. Thanks to the external clamping profile spiral, they are also largely protected against external wear. The specially coated textile high-temperature fabric from which the hose wall is made is suitable for many other applications, such as the extraction of hot and abrasive grinding dusts.
Whether at welding workplaces, in the manufacture of metal containers or other problematic areas of application: The extraction of hot sparks always remains a challenge if no suitable or only conventional products are used and thus only a short service life of the hoses can be achieved. Master-Clip SPARK XL - hoses were used, for example, for the extraction of mixtures of hot air and glowing corundum/metal dust during grinding work. According to the project engineer in charge, Masterflex's Master-Clip SPARK XL lasted significantly longer than all previously tested competitor products and is now to be used exclusively.
The hoses are available in diameters DN 50 - DN 2000. Almost all intermediate dimensions as well as special designs with stainless steel clamping profile are available from the manufacturer on request. It goes without saying that Masterflex AG also offers corresponding connection elements.
