Somatex Medical Technologie GmbH from Teltow presented the company from Halberstadt with the bronze "SOMATEX Supplier of the Year" award. Axel Schuchmann, Managing Director of Novoplast Schlauchtechnik GmbH, proudly accepted the award on behalf of all employees on November 17, 2010, which is traditionally presented to the best suppliers on the first day of COMPAMED - the international trade fair for the medical supply industry and product development. "We feel very honored. This award also means for us at the same time an incentive to continue to be a reliable supplier and development partner for SOMATEX GmbH," says Axel Schuchmann. "Our ambitious goal is to achieve first place next year."
In recent years, Novoplast has developed a variety of catheters and tubing systems in close cooperation with SOMATEX, which are used in the fields of drainage, MRI as well as insemination.
The award was presented by the spokesman of the Somatex management, Mr. Kniep, as well as Mr. Winkler, responsible for materials management.
Joint stand at COMPAMED
Novoplast Schlauchtechnik GmbH and Fleima-Plastic GmbH, also a subsidiary of Masterflex AG, exhibited together for the first time at COMPAMED. Fleima-Plastic is a specialist in injection molding and has been manufacturing components for medical technology for more than 30 years, ranging from mass-produced items for dialysis, infusion and transfusion technology to customized, individual customer solutions.
