For applications where hose lines are to be connected and welding is not possible or desired, Masterflex AG now offers a screw-on taper flange adapter.
The connecting element, made of steel (St.52), can be mounted on threaded connections in a flow-optimized and largely liquid-tight manner. All commercially available sealants can be used for sealing. By means of quick-release clamps, connections to all tapered flanges to DIN 3016 can be made extremely easily and quickly.
The adapter is available with screw-on or screw-in threads from G2" to G10".
With the cone flange adapter, the company is expanding the possibility of integrating flexible hose lines in an assembly-friendly and safe manner. In addition to the screw-on adapters, weld-on tapered flanges for steel pipes, bends or reducers are also available, as are metal spigots with tapered flanges. The connection to the hose can be made either by a screw-on PU conical flange or via permanently bonded metal flanges.
