At the 16th International Trade Fair for Plastics and Rubber, a large number of hoses, mainly for the plastics industry, were presented to the trade public.
The outstandingly abrasion-resistant and highly flexible (PU) polyurethane hoses, which are suitable for a wide range of applications, such as:
- Conveying of powder, plastic granules
- grain, cement, sand and gravel conveying and many more.
In addition to abrasion-resistant PUR hoses (also available as standard in FDA quality for the food industry, electrically conductive (ATEX-compliant), flame-retardant and microbe-resistant), Masterflex AG presented medium- and high-temperature hoses for temperatures up to +1,100 °C, e.g. for granulate drying, as well as suction and blower hoses with excellent chemical resistances, a wide range of connecting elements (also available in FDA quality), and wear-resistant pipes and pipe bends with PU linings specially developed for the pneumatic conveying of abrasive media with very high flow rates.
