The Masterflex Group and its Novoplast Schlauchtechnik brand will be represented at the Motek international trade fair, the world leader in production and assembly automation and industrial handling, from 6 to 9 October. Novoplast Schlauchtechnik offers hoses for industrial and medical technology. All trade visitors are welcome to visit booth 3132 in hall 3.
This year's trade fair highlights are the robust special polyester hoses XFlame® hydro and XFlame® soft, which have already proven themselves among industry insiders and are used in welding systems and welding related areas. These special hoses withstand all mechanical requirements in drag chains, robots and welding guns. The conventional version XFlame® has been further developed in the meantime: The flexible XFlame® hydro improves the handling of the hoses, such as the insertion into connectors and push-in fittings. The elastic XFlame® soft is ideal for particularly narrow installation situations.
For the XFlame® the proximity to high heat as well as to flying sparks is no problem: Due to the flame-retardant design according to UL94-V0/V2, sparks and welding beads have no chance of damaging the hose material. In addition, the highly flexible hose is halogen-free and self-extinguishing in case of fire. The plasticizer-free material prevents the escape of toxic gases in the event of fire. A further plus: The XFlame® is now available in all basic colours blue, red, green and white in addition to the standard black version. Thus, at first glance, a water cooling line can be distinguished from a pneumatic line.
As a further innovation Novoplast Schlauchtechnik presents its burr-free connection solution PA DUOPART® for all push-in connections, vacuum and automotive applications. PA DUOPART® combines two polyamide hoses in a tricky way: Alternately, these are composed of exposed burr-free hose sections and re-welded hose parts. The advantage: non-welded sections are burr-free on the surface and therefore allow for a really tight connection between surface and fitting. This is what makes the product so special. The hose connection withstands temperature ranges from -40°C to +85°C. Marcel Varges, sales manager for the industrial sector at Novoplast Schlauchtechnik, is convinced: "This clever connection solution ensures greater efficiency in industrial production in every respect".
